How Tantalum (Coltan) pricing works

Tantalum pricing starts from the published market rate, then deducts the treatment charge (frais de traitement) and any agreed advance (avance) before applying RRA, transport, and Inkomane fees.
Net weight is the single most important input. A 1% error in weight scales linearly through every downstream number, so verify with a calibrated scale before saving.
The RMA fee in the spec is per dry-metric-ton; the calculator lets you enter it directly without unit conversion. The exchange rate (Igicoro cyo kuvunja) converts USD totals into RWF at the moment you save.
